Deck and Patio Landscape Design

Our team at Signature Concrete Design is constantly creating new outdoor living designs for clients in the Lehigh Valley and beyond. This project we did last year was a backyard design and installation project.
Our clients wanted to span the entire back length of the house, corner to corner. We designed two spaces for them. The deck space we created is a simple transition from the house to the outside area. The deck allows immediate usage without going to far into the yard.
The deck steps lead you down into the the patio space that has a unique shape. The shape is this reason because our clients wanted it to be interesting and not touch the house. The immediate part of the patio that leads from the deck steps allows for transition into the back end of the patio, off the patio into the yard, or to an access area under the deck. The area on the back end of the patio has a subtle curves that allows for most single or double sized chairs.
The patio and deck were surround by a landscape bed. The bed goes from the one corner of the house to other, covering the entire perimeter of both the deck and stamped concrete patio. A few plants we used into the landscape include:
abelia ‘kaleidoscope’
elderberry ‘lemony lace’
weigela ‘wine and roses’
